Can I send bulk SMS/text messages with CONNECT?
No. CONNECT is a non-commercial service, designed for one-to-one, back and forth communication with existing customers, contacts, or clients.

Does CONNECT Keep Transcriptions or Copies of Conversations?
Yes. Your users/agents can choose to either delete or archive completed conversations (you can choose not to allow the option to delete conversations, if you like). The account administrator can access the transcriptions and the accompanying notes of any archived conversations in the system from the "Archives" tab in the tool (users can only review their own archived messages).
What about privacy or security?
Every piece of data relating to either you or client/contact is 256-bit encrypted on the Local Text Marketers servers. And of course, both your and your contacts' data is 100% secure and is never shared or sold with anyone.
How does the free trial work?

Is CONNECT HIPAA Compliant?
CONNECT is fully secure, cloud-based service that does not require the download of any software
on your local computer network.
All conversations and correspondences are protected by 256-bit encryption in our databases.
However, text messages are sent over publicly available networks and are not encrypted and are therefore not secure.
However you can use CONNECT and text messaging and be fully HIPPA compliant under certain circumstances - please see this article for a complete discussion.
Ultimately, proper education about the potential consequences of failing to protect the integrity of private health information is the responsibility of the client.
How are these messages sent? is this an email to text service?
We do not use inferior email to text services. All messages sent from CONNECT are sent via the SMPP protocol and delivered over the mobile carrier networks (i.e., Bell, At&T, Verizon, Virgin, etc).
They arrive on your contacts' and clients' phones as simple text messages (they do not need to install any software to receive messages from our service).
Do I need to download any software?
No. CONNECT is an online service that can be accessed from desktops, laptops and mobile devices via a standard internet connection.
